"I purchased a warranty for my son's laptop from Costco. The computer failed and the initial call with Square Trade went well. They told me they could have it repaired within 2-5 days from receipt and they would send me a shipping box and return from FEDEX...that ws fine but it took a week to get the box I returned it that day. They noted that it was received and in test...While it has been in test since January 9th and as of today January 16th the still can't tell me when it will be repaired. "I purchased SquareTrade to cover an Epson printer. Despite all my efforts to improve the quality of the printing, in less than a year the printer was unusable for business. I first contacted SquareTrade since I had not realized that there should have been about two weeks left under the Manufacturer's warranty. Square Trade gave me the Epson Customer Support number and told me if I had difficulties getting them to stand behind the product to call back. Epson told me I would have to pay them $99.95 to start the Warranty claim... read more

"I have been paying this company for 1.5 years thinking I had insurance. My phone broke last week, they asked me to upload my purchase receipt for my I phone which I did. They said my warranty is void because I did not take their insurance within 1 month of my purchase price!!! I said, "BUT you have been taking my money for the last 1.5 years", they said sorry. BEWARE OF THESE PEOPLE, you MAY NOT HAVE INSURANCE"
