"Replacement phone arrived with a rattle from a loose battery. Follow up communication from ST was non existent and the responses I got from them were continually inconsistent. There was no follow through form their team when I'd specifically request confirmation of items and a number of times I got conflicting information when I contacted them. --------- Follow-up after squaretrade response. "Sent my DVR in for repairs. They couldn't fix it so they refunded the cost of the DVR. That refund was nice except that I had installed a 1 terabyte hard drive and they did not return my hard drive. That drive was worth more than twice the value of the DVR! I would have been further ahead if I had not sent the DVR in for warranty repair. "

"I got the SquareTrade warranty for a camera that I use for business in Los Angeles. When the internal mirror got scratched I went through all the steps to send it in. After it had been at their facility for 5 days I called to ask when it would be returned. They told me that they were going to send it out to another dealer to get it fixed and it would take about 3 weeks because they didn't have the parts. Obviously this isn't what I was promised. I now don't have a camera to use for business over the time that I'll need it. ... read more

"A lot of time was wasted because the first associate did not do the job properly. I had to call back after almost 2weeks of waiting and another associate had to take the lead and fix he problem. He fixed it fast and with a smile. More associates need to be like him and do the job correct the first time. "

"I have been a customer of ST for years. It always had good prices, low deductibles, and great customer service with English speaking representatives. If you wanted to speak with a supervisor, one would be on the line quickly. Existing customers could always count on a 30% discount on a new warranty. Now, prices and deductibles are up while coverage is down. Customer service stinks, you can't speak with a supervisor, and it's hard to understand the representatives.
