"So dissatisfied with them. I have been within a phone for weeks! After it broke I called and they said they couldn't find my warranty receipt and that I had to email it and they would call me back. I had to email my receipt over 5 times with 5 differnt people because they kept saying they never got it. "I read a lot of good review with SquareTrade but I guess at some point someone has to pay for the good that they are doing. "On May 4th I started a claim with square trade. Spoke to a rep who told me to go the apple store and purchase a new phone and I would get replaced. I did. Finally receipt successfully submitted email on 5/14/2015. 5/20/15 an Email asking me to take my broken phone to genius bar to be repaired?? What??? "I go to Square Trade for all my warranty needs. Their coverage is so complete and is a much better value than almost every other protection plan I've seen and they have won awards year after year for their customer service which I can attest is absolutely stellar. If you need to protect your investment and the manufacturer's warranty is either way too short or doesn't give you complete coverage or both, you cannot go wrong with Square Trade. "
"At first my claim was quick. But the company that square trade used to repair my phone sent my "fixed" phone to the wrong address. After an investigation that took almost 2 weeks they solved the problem by writing me a check for the retail value of the phone. This "solution" was horrible because I am ineligible for an upgrade with my plan and the retail value of my old phone doesn't cover even a quarter the cost of a new one with out the upgrade pricing. Overall I'm disappointed with square trade."

"When I bought a Samsung Tablet I also purchased a Square Trade warranty including accidental damage coverage. I also bought a protective case. After a drop or 2 I was glad I bought the case. Over a year later, the tablet was dropped and hit a stone step with the case open... The tablet was ruined. I filed a claim, received a return label, sent it in. "I bought a plasma TV in 2011 for about $800. I'd heard that they were good TVs but also that they had some quality control issues. So, I decided to buy a 4 year extended warranty from SquareTrade for $90. It seemed like a good hedge. My TV worked almost perfectly for about 4 years.
