"A year ago, I purchased a refurbished printer/photocopier/fax machine mainly because I had a large stock (being a wartime baby) of ink catridges which I didn't want to waste (value sbout £100). At time of purchase, insurance with Square Trade was recommended and so I took a two year insurance (£13.49). After less than a year, the photocopier ceased to function. "I requested warranty service for a pair of LG HBS 700 bluetooth headphones that had quit working. I received a response from SquareTrade within hours of submitting the claim. SquareTrade investigated my claim after receiving my responses to a simple set of questions regarding the circumstances of the headphone failure to function correctly. I received re-imbursement for the total original cost of the headphones, and also received additional compensation for agreeing to accept payment in the form of an Amazon gift card. "Square Trade assessed the problem with my hard drive and order a part to be sent to me. They set up a service tech to come to my home to install the part, which he did on the date that was set up. The tech seemed to be knowledgeable in his work, but his appearance was unacceptable, He looked unkept and had a bad odor about his person. I didn' think he was a good representative for Suquare Trade."

"I utilized the Square Trade warranty that I purchased. I mailed in the defective product and in one week I received their response issuing the full refund of the product. I am very pleased with their service and the promptness. Would be interested to purchase their warranty policy in the future."

"The web site does not offer a way to communicate about the claim, for instance to specify a shipping address that is different from the home address. My replacement phone could have shipped to the wrong place. Also, for Costco customers the web site says there will be a repair by a local provider, but in fact all Costco claims are replacements, according to the phone representative."

"My item worked for 4 months and then quit. I had bought a SquareTrade warranty so I submitted a claim. They sent me a shipping label and I got a full refund the next day."

"I had a SquareTrade Warranty for an iPhone 4S and dropped it and cracked the screen. Contacted SquareTrade and the next day we were at the Apple Store getting a replacement. Faxed the receipt to SquareTrade and the money was refunded two days later. "
