I was emailed and told that I qualified to get a refund for the purchase price of the player. I received (by email) a return label which covered the postage. "Bought a three year warranty from Square Trade in August 2010 for a new Fellowes Shredder I purchased from Amazon.com. This was the second warranty I purchased from Square Trade. Two weeks ago I went to use the shredder and it would not turn on. I contacted Square Trade through their website and received a response within 24 hours. "SquareTrade Has made a believer out of me! I am not one to normaly buy warranties, However I purchased a pair of blue tooth stereo earbuds that were a bit pricey. Needless to say they failled after a few months. I had purchased a warranty from SquareTrade.. I filled out small form on squaretrades website and within a few days had the full price refunded to me without any hassles what so ever!!! SquareTrade Has Definetly made a Believer out of me."

"We purchased a couple of computers a couple of years ago, one for me and one for my wife. We decided to get a Square Trade Warranty on them both. When my wife's computer began experiencing difficulties and muliple blue screens of death, we called Square Trade. They got a technician out who initially fixed the issue. "I couldn't be more pleased with how quick and easy Square Trade was to use. My Steam Carpet Cleaner burned out after almost 2 years. I filed a claim figuring I'd have to somehow ship it off somewhere or bring it to the nearest service center (about 50 miles away) to drop it off for repair. Then I figured I'd have to wait weeks for the repair, lay out money for the repair or deal with a deductible or whatever. Whatever it was, I was anticipating aggravation. "My computer was repaired to my satisfaction. Square Trade's staff was generally very supportive and helpful. The only problem I encountered was when I was explaining how I thought my power supply had failed and the person I spoke to on the phone kept insisting it was the motherboard. I had repaired two computers myself whose power supplies failed and knew what to look for such as the fan on the power supply not blowing out air. "We just had to contact SquareTrade when I cracked the screen on my brand new Samsung Galaxy SIII. They did not have my phone in stock and offered me the full retail price of the phone. I shipped it using their prepaid label and the money was in my account 4 hours later! What GREAT service! I bought a new phone and the SquareTrade warranty will be the only kind I will ever buy for any electronic device! Plus the deductible is a $100 CHEAPER than with Sprint."

"Square Trade asked me to take my problem to the manufacturer first. When neither they nor the seller would address my defective merchandise, Square Trade promptly refunded the maximum amount of my contract and sent me a label to return the defective device even though the manufacturer should have honored their warranty."
