Great transaction. Very easy to initiate and to receive reimbursement.
I was offered a refund for two smart watches I had purchased, instead of repair or replacement, either of which I would have preferred. Due to the inability to connect both watches, I suspect that they were outdated less than a year from purchase date, and would have had to be replaced, so it was cheaper for Allstate to refund the discounted purchase price than to replace the items at a higher price. I was disappointed with the smart watches, as well as with both the manufacturer’s warranty and with Allstate.

I’ve been wondering if I should keep this insurance. Then we needed it. My daughter kept saying it’s a scam ( she really wanted a new phone). She got her phone fixed, I sent a picture of thr receipt, and within minutes had an electronic WalMart gift card! That simple. Catch? You must pay upfront. No big deal. Yes, there is a $99 deductible. Phone repair was well above that!
