American Home Shield has been very attentive to me. They send good contractors and we've been very happy with them. Most recently, I had their contractor out for a toilet repair and the claims process went great. Things were very positive when their tech came.
I called American Home Shield about the oven not working and they assigned someone. The very next day, that contractor was out, fixed it on the spot and it was done. I had a great experience. I'm a Real Estate broker and I put all my clients with AHS because they're the only ones that I trust.
Submitting a claim to American Home Shield went perfectly. The tech who was sent was on time, very quick and knowledgeable. He used a mask and was very polite. He installed a faucet in my kitchen and now it's doing great. Though I wish AHS didn't go up by $6 on my monthly rate, other than that, I've had two or three repairs with them and everything has gone perfectly well.
It all started in January. I had a new furnace put in then I had a broken pipe under the house that apparently had been there for a while 'cause I was beginning to get some smell from the kitchen sink. I called the plumber and he checked it out. He didn't go under the house. He noticed from the side vent outside the house and said I had a broken pipe under there. Once again AHS saved the day. My shower was stuck on and AHS had someone here to fix it within 18 hours. Thank you AHS
I had an outlet that wasn't working and they arranged to have an electrician come out. They handled things really quickly. The contractor was very nice. The first time they came out, we couldn't figure out the problem, so they had to come back. Then they found the problem and took care of it. It's working as normal since then.
I've had one claim and the contractor called me within a day. It was wonderful. He came out on time. He did the job that he was supposed to do. Everything was great except for they couldn't fix the dishwasher because it goes on and off. The guy tightened a bunch of stuff and it came on. Then we turned it off, and turned it on, and it came on. But after he left, it went off again. They're gonna replace my dishwasher now and I got a call last week from American Home Shield. I submitted a claim online to American Home Shield for the microwave and then, I had an email within 24 hours. There were two contractors. The first one was great because before he would come in the house, he wanted to know if anybody had been sick. I had to wear a mask. There were some protocols that were followed.
