As usual, my experience with American Home Shield was super !! Their response to my claim was very quick and they immediately set me up with the proper service provider ! My pool filter housing was repaired faster than I could ever imagine. American Home Shield is great, I have been a client now for 6 years and will always recommend their services !
The condenser pipe was backing up. It was leaking then it started smelling. The guy had to replace the motor and the heater that pushes the air through the house. He was very good and very knowledgeable. I do have a complaint though. I tried reaching out to them and they haven't responded. I turned the air conditioner back on and it still leaked water. Crown Home is excellent. They do a really good job. I've had them before. They came this time for a plumbing issue. It was a sink leakage underneath the sink, and the contractor was able to fix that. Now, I can run water and nothing leaks underneath. He was really nice. He did a quick job. American Home Shield is awesome and they send out whoever I need. They send out really good people. They're always doing a good job for me. They've done everything that I've asked.
I sent a claim for the refrigerator and it was a quick and efficient process. It didn't make ice. When the individual showed up, she knew what was wrong and she replaced a part. But it happened to be another part later down the road, so she had to come back two days after the fact. But it was still fast and efficient. She was professional and knowledgeable. Doing my claim with AHS online was pretty easy. For a recent claim I had, they sent out Millennial HVAC and their tech figured out the issue and got the unit going. It was just the fan on the outside unit. It was pretty quick. With AHS, everything's been pretty simple. I had the warranty even in my other house.
Our air conditioner quit working. Home Shield sent a technician out, replaced the fan motor and took care of the problem. Everything was fine other than we were told that we would get a phone call when the technician was a half an hour or so away from our location, but that didn't happen. I got a phone call saying that the technician was at my house. She had to wait about 20 minutes for me to get from my workplace to there. But outside of that, everything was good. Our dryer stopped working and it wouldn't come on. I submitted a claim to American Home Shield online and going through their website was very easy. They told me to expect their contractor within a day. Ashman Appliances came and I was really pleased with their tech. The moment I showed him what was happening, he knew what was wrong and fixed it within 10 minutes. Since he came out, everything has been working fine.
We called AHS because one of our rooms wasn't being cooled by the air conditioning. There was a long wait on the phone but it was helpful that there was a callback number where you could enter your number and have them call you back instead of waiting. That way, I was able to get ahold of someone easy enough. The techs who came out were professional and they did a good job in the assessment. Water was leaking from an inside unit of ours. When I submitted a claim for the issue online to American Home Shield, things were easy. It took them three days to get a contractor out. I was fine with that timeframe as their contractor from A+ Maintenance could have had several other projects. In the meantime, we put buckets where the leak was.
