We submitted a claim with AHS because we were having trouble with the wash cycle in the washing machine. I got through the website of AHS and it was fine. It was easy enough to use. The contractors that came were professional. The washing machine has been good so far. My experience with AHS has been professional, clean and it was good engagement.
I've had Home Shield for a long time and they're very good. With the pandemic, it's difficult to get hold of people and everything's online. It makes it a little slower to get responses. But I've had a lot of things go break and they've either replaced or repaired. I had a washer claim and GE Appliances brought the replacement for our washer. GE Appliances was polite, they did their job, and they were quick. Also, they had their mask on.
Everything went fine with my AC claim. It took about three days to schedule a service, but I was fine with it. The tech from May Heating fixed the AC in a matter of minutes. Overall, American Home Shield has been fine. I will renew it every year.
I gave Home Shield a call and they scheduled the contractor to come out. The contractor came out that same day and the breaker was fixed. It was very smooth and very well done. The contractor had boot covers and he had his mask on. It was just a breaker change, so nothing complicated. I made a claim for my garbage disposal as there was a leak under my sink. American Home Shield's claim process is pretty smooth. I just put in a request online. American Home Shield sends the contracted company something and they would contact me to set up an appointment. YAZD Mechanical came out to do the job 10 days ago. They were really fast and efficient. The whole service was great. They said everything is fine. Everything is in great condition.
I call in when submitting claims to American Home Shield. It’s easiest. The reps are super good to go and the technician from Third Generation Plumbing and Mechanic was off the chain. He was fantastic. We didn't think there was anything in the beginning and the PVC was a continuing problem. He fixed it and since the repair, it's perfect. Everything has been great with AHS.
Never had an issue with the service. Always take care of issue quickly.
