The technician they sent out was good at what he did
I had placed a call several weeks earlier and Crain's Air Conditioning came out and looked at our air conditioner. Then I had some additional problems so they came out and fixed one thing on it. Then it went down two days later. They came back out for a third call and traced down the issue and replaced the capacitor on it. They were very professional and they responded very promptly. I submitted a claim online one time but I have a disabled daughter so it's easier for me on the phone. They have been always responding to my phone calls for placing orders over the phone. The first company that American Home Shield sent for my laundry washer did not come. The technician delayed the call and he was last minute. In general, American Home Shield has been good. I've had two different service requests where one of them was within the last three weeks, and the other one was a month before that. For the most recent one, it was when my dryer wasn't working. When I'd hit the button to start it, it would not spin. It sounded like it was going when I had my finger on the start button, but when I took my finger off, then it totally stopped. Eagle Heating & Air came out for a preseason checkup. We had to have our unit cleaned and inspected every year. The technicians were professional and friendly.
I called American Home Shield and submitted a claim 'cause I didn't have my hot water in my bedroom in the shower. They told me that someone would be contacting me. They gave me the option of two contractors and I picked Waters Edge. I knew the other one so I wanted to get someone I didn't know. That was the first one they recommended also. The toilet was slow draining and then the sink was the same thing. Shields Plumbing came in and they were respectful. I showed them where the issues were. They looked at it and they worked on it, and then they fixed it. So, it was no issue when it came to how long they took to fix it or the time frame it took them to get to our house. I had a claim for maintenance on my heater. I made the call, AHS told me what to expect and who would call me back. The contractor called me, and the next day, the man was here and did an excellent job. He went over detail by detail what was done and how and what shape my heater's in.
