My icemaker was leaking water that was causing the ice to freeze up into a big old chunk. The contractor from Sears came out and replaced the icemaker, and it’s been working perfectly since. When we call, Home Shield doesn’t waste no time. They’re on time. They make sure they get out and take care of business. They get you set up and get your stuff taken care of. I like it.
Very responsive and very helpful company serving my home warranty. They are forthcoming and helpful with my novice questions and manage vendors extremely well.
We call the main phone number for American Home Shield and explain to them what the problem is. They say they're gonna contact someone to get back to us with an appointment date. Maybe two or three days after the appointment, our deductible is deducted. I gave them a payment from my checking account. I made a claim for my oven and this is for the same repair and the same company I had in April. For whatever reason, our oven went out. The tech came right out and repaired it. I had three plumbing issues. The first one was with the faucet from the shower. The second one was one of the sinks was having an issue where the water was flowing slowly. The third one was with the bathroom seat. I opened the case with American Home Shield and described all the issues I had. They assigned someone from Brick Street Plumbing and the process was smooth. The service they provide is excellent. Surely they can improve their phone system so that the wait for service is no more than a few minutes
The toilet wasn't draining and the contractor came in. I had to order a pump. They fixed it and everything went smoothly. I’ve only had American Home Shield for about three months and the only thing is that when they schedule for a tech to come out, it takes about a week. Then, it takes about a week to order a part. I'm happy with American Home Shield. I called them for the washer and dryer. They set me up with the provider and it was serviced in 24 hours’ time. The contractor called me like in half an hour's time once I opened up the claim. He set up the appointment, came and did the job.
My pool pump was shot. It didn’t fire. It was old and rusted out. American Home Shield sent out a tech. They came out the very next day and replaced it. The guy who installed the new part was awesome. He's a super good guy. The last time I called American Home Shield, the call center was so noisy. They must've had it outsourced. It was like there were 50 people in a size of a living room. It was that loud. I kept having to repeat stuff and re-ask questions. But the claims process itself and the company have been great.
My refrigerator was leaking water into the fridge and Omega came out the same day. The guy was very nice, very professional and got the job done really quickly.
