The air conditioner had stopped working. I went through American Home Shield's website on the computer to do a claim. It was fairly simple. There's a button that said, “file a claim.” Then, it had the option there for conditioner. About five minutes after I put in the claim, it already had the name of the company, and they called me like the next morning to get scheduled. On Time Plumbing & Heating came out, and the service that they provided was good and quick, and everything worked out.
I have done my claims with American Home Shield both on a web browser on a PC and on my phone. When you go on the website, you have a list of dropdowns. I might call customer service when that list of dropdowns doesn't necessarily reflect my current issue. Foster's Heating & Air solved our problem and they were awesome. The issue was the piping that was that carried the water. The guy already had the part but he had to get the replacement approved through Home Shield first. It took a couple of days but it wasn't a big deal. I called in and requested a receipt because I didn't get anything from the vendor that came out. The washing machine and my refrigerator works. But I didn't get a list of the parts that the tech put in my machine so I have that for the future. I called and asked that from the vendor. I haven't received it. But other than that, it was a quality vendor that worked for me. They found the problem and they were very quick. The tech was very service-oriented. He did great service. Six weeks ago, I called in to get information on what AHS covered 'cause it's benign on the policy. I had to wait an hour and a half to get someone to pick up. I really wish they would have a callback system. But when I called in for the claims, it was awesome. Somehow, I was lucky enough to get patched through in 15 minutes. It was doable. Two. visits by tech to correct problem and resulted in additional damage.
I have had to call on American Home Shield twice since I've got this policy. Never had a problem either time. I'm very pleased with the work that was done and with the way in which the technicians handled themselves. So far so good I really like American Home Shield service.
My experience was great with ahs. The company who was to call me back did not and i couldnt reach them but as soon as i notified ahs they got me a new company who contacted me right away and did a great job.
Quick response time. The vendor that was sent was very professional and efficient.
