Generally on simple request AHS does well. Now trying to replace a water heater recently it has taken almost two weeks for AHS to move on the issue. I spent countless hours trying to resolve issues with overseas call centers that were useless. AHS essential has customer service agents that must work in closets without any contact to other AHS departments and can only read from scripts. I have had 2 experiences with AHS: The 1st which was to repair a sink and shower was a 5; the 2ns which was to repair an ice maker (it still does not work), and repair a washer and dryer (which also do not work to our satisfaction) I rate as a 2.
Have had good service on some repairs, but replacement and then fixing the bad installation of our gas stove has been a nightmare.
I’m glad to have the protection but very time I have an issue it seems it is never covered by the warranty. So I’ve had to pay out of pocket each time. There is always some explanation about modifications which makes no sense because any house you buy unless new will have modifications at the time of purchase because of upgrades. It’s just really frustrating.
Have always had immediate response to service requests. They have always assigned the best

Always fast response! I love that I can submit my work order online….a local contractor’s contact info is sent to me immediately. The contractors have been outstanding! I’m so glad my brother told me to renew my AHS Warranty! Washer, dryer, refrigerator all repaired or replaced. No hassle. So worth it! I recommend AHS to all my friends and family. I can’t afford not to have my AHS!
