We have used our home warranty many times. It has been good most of the time, but recently we have had issues with using the cash out option to purchase a ceiling fan that needs to be replaced. My wife and I have called 4 times in 2 weeks and have seen no progress. Also, when asking to escalate and speak with a supervisor, I received heavy resistance from the on phone AHS operator/technician and was told a supervisor would call me back. I have not yet received a call back.

Our first experience with American home shield was when we purchased our first home and we have loved them ever since. Since first interaction we have on four properties and all have been covered by American home shield and we have never had any real issues that they were not willing to solve.
