We had a stoppage in our sink and it wasn't going all the way down. I called AHS and the contractor came and repaired it. The contractor was wonderful. They did an excellent job.
Submitting a claim to American Home Shield was easy. I just had to go through a couple of people to get the right people in the area. So, it was no problem. The guy came in and worked on the hot water heater. He examined it and found what the problem was and he got it going. It was good. Since then, everything's working great. This is the first time we've used AHS, so everything’s fine and I'm not gonna complain. If I have a problem, I'm gonna call them.
American Home Shield is excellent. When we submit a claim, we just call AHS up and then they're very timely in calling us. However, sometimes the service people aren't so good. Now, I've learned who's good and who isn't. I check the reviews right away based on who they're gonna send out. If the vendors are terrible, then I'll call and request someone else. American Home Shield responded to my request promptly and sent High Priority to do what was necessary. They were on time and courtesy and efficient. I will continue to use AHS when needed in the future.
The AC wasn't kicking on and it happened to be a really hot day. After checking very simple things like the circuit breaker, everything seemed okay. I called AHS and they got somebody out quickly within a couple of days. The gentleman from Majestic Custom Heating & Air Conditioning did some work on the air conditioner roughly a year ago, so he knew who I was when he came to the door. I made one call and the response was very fast. I had a problem with my water heater and within a few hours I had an appointment with a plumber. I was very happy with American Home Shield
On the second call, the AC was leaking water. The condensate drain was backing up and the contractor, Climate King, was unable to come and unclog the drain. But when they did, it took them less than an hour to repair it. The AC is doing well. Also, they wore mask and distanced. All in all, I’ve had very good service with American Home Shield. I always know that I got somebody to call when I have an issue and that they will take care of it.
I've been an American Home Shield customer for years. I'm in the process of a claim now. The tech came out and he recommended that they didn't have the parts for the refrigerator, the washer, and the microwave so they had to provide a new one for that. They couldn't repair them so I went ahead and purchased and submitted the proof of receipt for all three of them, and I'm waiting on the reimbursement from American Home Shield. Our toilet in the first-level bathroom was leaking into the lower-level bathroom. We called American Home Shield and the reps we talked to were fine. They gave us the contractor's phone number and told us that he would call or text us when he was on his way. They also gave us a time range on the specific date that the contractor was coming and on the day of the appointment, he called and said he was on his way.
