so far all my repairs have been taken care of without any issues, except for my dryer. the repair company would not replace the part that they, themselves damaged. said AHS would not pay for the part. I told him it was not making that noise until he worked on it. still makes that noise!
I haven't had American Home shield a year yet and they have already replaced by furnace and washing machine. They've been most helpful.
