I had called for two different issues. But I took care of the most important one, which is the water heater in the garage. The technician from Anywhere Plumbing and Repair worked with me because I got off later from work, and he allowed me to be his last client. He came out and was very professional, nice, and sanitary. I had two other companies before and American Home Shield does a lot better. They're easier to maneuver and they have flexibility.
My microwave wasn't working and I did a claim online to American Home Shield. They said that the contractor was gonna call me at a certain time, which they did. Then, they scheduled an appointment with me. A’s Appliance was good and made my microwave work. Everything has been performing much better since they came out. AHS makes my life easier.
Sears sucks and I'm glad I switched to American Home Shield. American Home Shield’s better because their pricing is better and they do more of the systems. They do not just appliances but also electrical. So far, so good.
My garbage disposal was leaking. I called and put the report in to American Home Shield. They sent Little Big Plumbing and everything was fixed pretty quickly the same day they came. Having AHS has been convenient for us.
I used the online portal to submit an AC claim and it was really easy. Century Heating & AC came out and they were able to repair the unit. It's been working great, thankfully, because right now, we're in the wildfire area on the west coast. We've been having to run it just to help clean the air in the house because it's awful. American Home Shield is very good. They do what they say they'll do. The claim submission was very easy when my air conditioner leaked. Then Sears came out and fixed it. It was wonderful. It was a great experience and we liked it and we would recommend it.
After Hours Plumbing was awesome. I had problems with my kitchen sink and a leaky pipe in my basement. The reps came out and fixed them both quickly. Everything was perfect. They wore their mask and they were very nice. They said that normally, they would shake hands, but they were not going to because of the pandemic. So, they were very straightforward about it. The refrigerator part wasn't cooling. I called American Home Shield and they got in contact with the vendor. When the vendor came to the house, they explained everything on what I needed and what was gonna happen. They had to order a part. I like how they already scheduled my next appointment, because sometimes they will wait till the part comes, and then they'll schedule it. Filing a claim seems pretty simple, straightforward, and efficient. We do it online, then follow up with the contractor. One of the things that are positive about the experience is the contractor answers the phone, they're responsive, and usually able to get out within the allotted 24 to 48 hours.
