I wasn't too happy with the first group that came out for the AC unit because they came out about three times before they even did anything. Then I asked the guy if he could fix it. He told me that he could but he didn’t have time. I asked him why he would come out here if he was not gonna fix it. I'm technology-challenged, so I prefer to talk to somebody but American Home Shield prefers you to do the claim online. When I tried to call this time, I never could get through so I resorted to the online platform. I couldn't elaborate on what the issue was though. I was trying to explain that I have an air conditioning unit in my attic and somewhere up there, I now have a water stain on my ceiling. American Home Shield is pretty good. They're pretty effective. I recommended it to my parents and they're using it now as well. We did a ticket online when our AC wasn’t blowing out any cold air. An Air Connection tech came out Monday of that week and fixed the AC. It went good. Everything is perfect now.
I called American Home Shield first about my refrigerator. The guy from the first company was supposed to come to my home. They did not come into the house. He told me to just take a picture of the serial number to the refrigerator and he would order the part. But I never heard from the company for three weeks. A month later, my refrigerator was still broken. So, I called the home warranty company to tell them that I had been waiting for a whole month and it still was broken. The toilet in the master bedroom was leaking. It was constantly running. The contractor came in and replaced the elements in the tank. There were no issues there. Then he came upfront in the kitchen. It was draining slow. He went in, removed the pipe and then used the snake to clean out the drain, and put it back together. It's now working great. We had a storm and when the lightning struck, it burned the wires on the air conditioning. It went up to 90 degrees inside the house. I used the online service like I always do to submit a claim with AHS and their website worked very well. The problem happened on a Friday evening and I was called the next working day, which was on a Monday. The tech they sent out said that he had to replace the wiring on there to the compressor and the air is working now. He was professional and he took care of the job. I've always had a pleasant experience with American Home Shield. I spoke with a representative about my air conditioning unit that wasn't getting cool and they were perfect. I was told the contractor will call me within 24 hours and it happened like that. The guys were great though they came out about three times before they finally got it fixed. They put something in backwards the first time. Another guy came out but he did something wrong. He finally came back and fixed it.
I love having American Home Shield. I've had them since I’ve owned the home and they’ve given the best service to me. I have the full coverage, so it covers everything. I switched to another company for one year based on someone else’s recommendation and it was the worst mistake I ever made. After the one year, I'll never go back again. American Home Shield is the best company that I've witnessed. I had one along with them without realizing it and I definitely prefer American Home Shield over anyone else.
I was noticing that there was water leaking underneath the sink. My daughter said it had been leaking for a while. I called American Home Shield to have someone come out to fix the thing. Someone from Crystal Clear Plumbing came, took care of everything expeditiously, and worked great. He did everything while he was here. Apparently, the pipe that was soldered, when he grabbed it underneath the sink, it kind of deteriorated. It had rusted so badly that it needed to be replaced. But it's working perfectly now.
