All in One Appliance Repair came out for an appliance issue. They diagnosed the problem and found that a fan blade broke and for some reason, the motor ceased. They had to order a new motor with a fan blade. The initial visit was on Friday and they came back the following Monday with the part and fixed our appliance. Our HVAC system was not pumping out enough cold air. South Placer came, checked it out and told us exactly what the issue was. It wasn’t a repair but more of an education of what we were missing from our system. The rep checked out the vents, did a diagnostic and said it’s working. We were happy about it. They did a good job. American Home Shield came with the house and I like that everybody shows up on time. The recommended vendors have been good.
I really appreciate Home Shield's services. They’re very prompt and I like the fact that I can set up the claim online. I had a plumbing claim and I had a little bit of an issue with the contractor, Plumbers Inc, because they didn't reach out to me. Our recent claim with AHS went well. It was for the pump that was not working anymore. The contractors came in and fixed the issue. They also were very prompt in calling me back. So I was happy with the turnaround time. The technician was also wearing his mask the whole time. So far, I feel satisfied with American Home Shield. The whole thing was seamless. American Home Shield is nice to have and at the time when I did it, the other ones didn't offer as much coverage. Just like having your car, you need some insurance in case something happens. Sometimes I don't have the money right off the bat to pay for a repair, but sometimes they got me thinking, "Should I just put this money away and buy the stuff?" I had three jobs this last season. The blower was broken so the heater wasn't producing air. The contractor let me know they had to order a part. Once they got the part, they called me and told me they were gonna be out to repair it. I was satisfied with the service.
The differentials from the point of entry to the output point for the HVAC systems were less than they were supposed to be. I submitted a ticket online to American Home Shield. Their website was fine, but it did not allow me to request service for two units. I could only request it for one, so I had to call and add the second unit. We were kinda doing a little remodeling and the drain was old and dilapidated. We filed a claim for a new drain and the contractor called me to set up the appointment. They’ve been great. It was a great experience with American Home Shield.
We have very good experience with American Home Shield. We had our air conditioning claim with them. I thought there was something wrong with it, but they had a guy come out next day and checked it and it was just the noise that was coming from the air conditioning. Before that, there were little things that we had done. But mostly, it was for the air conditioning unit because we had a very old one, and then they replaced it.
