One of the springs on the garage door opener was broken. It was on the bar that goes across the top and the tech replaced it. One of the bathrooms was not getting hot water. We could not figure out exactly what was happening there. American Home Shield dispatched the plumber from Matt's Plumbing Services. My boyfriend and our guests were there so we needed to get the hot water there. American Home Shield had Ark-La-Flow Plumbing come out for a service request. They had two guys and they were efficient. One guy was pretty much in training. But the head guy knew what he was doing. They observed and analyzed my problems then they explained everything like the process that it was gonna have to be submitted for further approval by American Home Shield. The contractors that came for our garage door were awesome. They adjusted the chain, and now, it's working beautifully. I love American Home Shield. I used to love them more before. I have my two houses with American Home Shield for over for 20 years. Then what I found out with the years, these call centers are in the Philippines. We've called Home Shield out on air conditioners, and on a couple of different other things. Recently, the showerhead was leaking. The diverter valve in there was worn out. So, ASAP Plumbing Services needed to change it. They came out and they were done in 10 or 15 minutes. It was great. Do the research. Read about what Home Shield offers. There are other ones out there but I'm used to Home Shield. It has always done good for me.
We had an issue with having a lot of ice and we were not able to remove them and water was leaking from the bottom of the refrigerator. I called the AHS service number. Everything from A to Z was great with the representative. She asked me if I'm available two days from that day and told me the available hours on that day, and I picked one. Recently, I had a leak on a built-in refrigerator. The technician came out and fixed it on the spot. It’s perfect. The only issue I've ever had was in my oven. The ovens are sealed in a cabinet. They have to be slid out and they wouldn't do that part. It wasn't very accessible. Also, I had an air conditioning unit go down and they didn't cover the Freon and the change in the disposal which ended up a lot of money.
