The plumber came out and the thing that you select where your shower water is going was not accessible. We had to have a demolition team come in and tear up the shower in the walls so that he was able to look at it. It was super great. I'm now waiting on my actual insurance to come and fix everything that they cut out. It was a very good experience with American Home Shield.

It took me a month to get my stove claim with AHS done. I just felt like that was a bit of time. When the technician got there, he had to order a part. I said, “Can you put it in next week?” He said, “No, it’s gonna take a week to come in. I'll be back the last week of the month.” That was when he came and fixed it. The plumber did a wonderful job. He came out to do the kitchen faucet. He also did both of my toilets and my master bedroom shower. I had to recall one of the toilets because it was shooting water out of the side. Had I thought of lifting the tank, I would've realized that one of the little pipes came undone and it was squirting water every time we would flush. You need a home warranty if you're going to be a homeowner and I wouldn't go without it as a homeowner. Recently, I had a plumbing order with AHS and initially, they sent out Hers & His Plumbing. They fixed the leak but later, Bestway Mechanical came out to patch up the part of the ceiling and wall that was cut out by the plumber. Other than that, submitting the claim with AHS has been easy. I normally call, but this year it seems that it's easy to do it online.
The first time the contractor came out, they found one leak. But there was another leak so they had to come back out. That time, they found the other leak and the AC's working. They were excellent. I've heard horror stories about people having leaks before and someone telling them they had to replace this whole part of the unit and give them $2,500. The only thing that it cost me was 300 for the AC refrigerant that they had to replace 'cause everything leaked out. The whole repair though was taken care of and it was great. I... read more
We had no air conditioning at all. The fan would work but that was about it. The condenser unit and the evaporator unit were totally shot. When the contractors came out to look at it, it didn't take very long to know that it was completely shot which is nice. He was an expert. Third Generation Plumbing and Mech was sent out for a plumbing issue and they were wonderful. I had three or four different people that I dealt with and they were very reliable and knowledgeable. Everything has been resolved. Also, everybody's that been here was wearing a mask.
The repairmen were very knowledgable and knew the problem immediately. They were very respectful and wore their masks. Excellent service from both repairmen. Would recommend and use the company again!
