The contractor had to replace the motor in one unit and clean out the drain line in another unit because it had backed up and was coming out the emergency drain. We have three air conditioners so he was busy. He was very good. We had had him before and when we had an air conditioner problem, he came out on a Sunday. He got all the information he needed and replaced the motor on Monday. We were back up and running right away and I really appreciated it because it was hot. I was pleased with American Home Shield.

I had my locks rekeyed. The locksmith was here at the stated time, he was respectful of time while working and completed the task within an hour. He left me with the four keys promised. I am pleased with the work he did.

Always gets the job done, usually without any hassle or problems, great value for 50 bucks a month compared to the previous company I had and so far everything has been covered, unlike the previous company which required annual payments and cost alot more

We travel a lot and we fly to Mexico. Now, we cruise. A few years ago, I had some leaky faucets that wouldn't stop dripping the day before I was to leave the country. I called American Home Shield and they had a repair person out that same day. If it had been during the Coronavirus, I'd probably had to shut the water off. This time, the repair company couldn't fix my icebox freezer and there was a lot of delayed time in between American Home Shield and the repair people and me. I've also kept calling the repair people, "What... read more

I took a chance on AHS because we have a 60-year old house full of plumbing, appliances, and and HVAC system that are all past their prime and warrnties. I am also at a point in life where I don't need endless DIY projects - you know how those often end up! AHS has really paid off for us - in terms of prompt service and thousands of dollars in repairs plus a new dishwasher to replace one that was beyond fixing. But you need to carefully evaluate your own situation, do the numbers, and also understand the AHS business mode... read more

The process of submitting claims with Home Shield is very easy. The first time I put a claim in, I was putting it in for the water softener and the automated system kept thinking I was saying sump pump. There was no easy way to talk to a human being at the time I was trying to enter that claim. And when I realized that it had put in an order and ordered a company to come out and repair my sump pump the next day, I had to contact the guy and tell him it was a water softener. Then, they explained to me that water softeners are... read more

The microwave was not working. The technician from Appliance Tech came and then there was something to replace. He ordered the replacement and then he replaced it. It was fast. The guy was nice, polite, and he wore a mask, so it was good. I'm very happy with the AHS service. It's very convenient. The appointment is always done within the day and the people are timely. Some of them were better. Usually they give half a day window. Some of them were much shorter like a two-hour window time. We used twice, a contractor during th... read more

The water wasn’t staying in the tank. It was completely dry. Plumbers Inc. fixed it on the first attempt. It was really a simple fix. The tech had the part on the truck and he replaced it. It was all done very quickly. American Home Shield does a very good job. But sometimes, the wait is a little longer. I had an air conditioning problem that started Saturday and it was just fixed yesterday. I had a lot of heat while it wasn’t working. But they did the best they could and the contractors are pretty busy at this time of year.... read more

My wife calls in claims with American Home Shield and the wait is a bit longer now because of this COVID situation. Everybody's remote and calls are stacking up. Things now take a bit longer to either get answered or resolved. Before all this, things were a bit faster. People were in the shop and they would answer and the whole staff crew is available. Other than that, we have no issues. They're responsive and they've addressed the issue on most times. There are times where I have had to convince them because the contractors ... read more
