Something in my upstairs bathroom leaked through to my downstairs office. I made a claim on my homeowners insurance, but nobody does planning on a homeowner's claim. But American Home Shield did. I called the number, told them the problem and then they offered me a plumber. The plumber came couple days later and fixed it. They were great. The only hang up was that they had to go through American Home Shield a couple of times before the part would be approved.
There were some outlets that were tripping the circuit breakers. I reported it to Home Shield online and the website was very informative and very detailed. The only issue I had was that Home Shield doesn't pay for after-hour and weekend service so I had to pay an extra $125 out of my pocket. Other than that, Peak Home Performance was wonderful and very helpful and they explained everything in detail.
Response to service call was prompt and the service guys were very professional and quick. Pleased with the overall experience. Knowledgeable. Would recommend this home warranty service to others anytime. Very good.
The AC went out and when I called American Home Shield, they said they could have somebody out the very next day, which they did. The technician got out early and he fixed the problem at that point. This was Saturday and then, on Sunday, the AC went out again. We had to call them and had them come back out. They set everything back up and everything went smoothly. A dryer would not turn and when I submitted a claim with AHS, they told me they would give the contractor a call then the contractor would be in touch with me. It was pretty quick and as soon as they told me that, I got a call from the contractors. Then, the techs came out, looked at it, and said that they got to order some parts. Our air conditioning wasn't working correctly. We called American Home Shield and they got in touch with A/C Pros. The techs from there were very efficient and courteous on the phone. They got a tech out to my location and my problem was taken care of the same day. They did an excellent job from start to finish. AHS is on the top of the heap. I would definitely recommend their warranty. Even if AHS didn't have a warranty and someone would ask me who can do home and AC, I'd recommend AHS 100%. If they take care of people like... read more
Had 4 different contractors to come out in one week. It was really busy week. Everyone was one time, had great customer service and did not hesitate to do their job.
In my kitchen sink, the drain just came apart. It rusted out and just popped apart. So I called American Home Shield and it took a while for them to call me back. The girl was a little snappy. Maybe she had a bad day, maybe she was trying to get a lot done, but she was a little snappy. But the guy from On Time that came out and fixed my plumbing was amazing. Our toilet wasn't flushing and we were trying to determine if it was the water pressure or the toilet. When we flush the toilet, it wasn't going all the way down. It put whatever in it out and we had to flush the toilet three or four times before it would finally flush. I called American Home Shield and stated what the problem was and opened up a claim.
