Our toilet wasn't flushing and we were trying to determine if it was the water pressure or the toilet. When we flush the toilet, it wasn't going all the way down. It put whatever in it out and we had to flush the toilet three or four times before it would finally flush. I called American Home Shield and stated what the problem was and opened up a claim. American Home Shield has been fine. I had them called out about the ice machine in the refrigerator. It took a while for a part to be ordered and I had to call American Home Shield to get it straightened out. The contractor installed a part on Tuesday but the ice machine is still not working. I'm supposed to wait till tomorrow to see if anything happens then I gotta call the company and tell them it's not working.
American Home Shield is good. I like it. Recently, Accord Appliance was sent out for the washer that was not turning on. There's a power but you couldn't lock it. The guy came with the parts and changed the door lock. He was excellent and knew what he was doing. The other one that I filed a claim for was the toilet. It was not flushing. They said the jet was not included in my coverage so I asked another company to do it.
So far so good! Had an electrical issue, made the call. Problem fixed within a couple of days. That simple!
I'm pleased to have AHS protecting my home. I have used AHS for repairs to a toilet, water heater and air conditioner. All repairs were completed to my satisfaction. This insurance is well worth the cost!
I went in my daughter's room to clean it and I saw a spot on the ceiling. I assumed we had a leak from the toilet above, so I called Home Shield. It was a really small leak in the pipe. The tech from Lakeshore Plumbing and Septic came and sealed it. It was fabulous.
Quick turnaround from the time we called for service and the AC specialist completing the job. No hidden fees. I would recommend to others.
My service request with AHS for a rekey went smoothly. The claims process was super easy and I was contacted in a timely manner. Arco came out and the tech was in and out in 30 minutes.
The Claim process was super easy and the repair was done exactly as promised. This was the first time using my warranty, and it was very easy. While I don’t want to have to use it again, It’s nice to know I’m covered if/when something breaks.
