I like them; however, I feel they could improve to benefit their clients by letting a service call be applied towards installation of a product and include that in the Cash Out option. Let me explain, my microwave stopped working. I advise AHW, they contact their choice of technician for job. I pay $100 per my agreement. The tech comes out and is at my home of maybe 5-10 minutes to verify microwave is broke. I then ask him the probable cost of repair. He states $300 -$400. I joined American Home Shield 60 days ago. I never thought my refrigerator would stop working. I made a claim online the company immediately dispatched for a technician to come to my home. He deemed my refrigerator as non-repairable. I received an email from American Home Shield giving me options on picking out a new one. With stock at a all time low and being on a retirement budget I received the amount for a new one. However at this time I am still waiting for one to be available for my allotted price range. Generally speaking, my experience has been very positive. I have had a number of items replaced under warranty. If not in need of a replacement, the service requests occur promptly. The operators work with me if I have specific contractor request. Opportunity with having enough reps to address items that require phone communication. Off shore employees often struggle with English, presumably why that is a survey question every time I take it.

My HSA warranty for my appliances has been very good for several years. I get quick service and I don't have to wait very long to get it fixed. The repairmen have been very respectful and always tell me they need to check with my warranty company before doing extensive repairs.
