My refrigerator went out and I just followed the protocol that said what to do to file a claim with American Home Shield. It was a fast turnaround time. Hudson is two miles from my house and they were the people that I've always used before I had AHS. The technician came out to look at the refrigerator and he realized that it was the circuit board that was bad. Everything's been working great and I was very pleased. I enjoyed AHS. I had them before at my old house so, I’m a repeater.
When I had no air, the first person they assigned to my case said they couldn't come out till the following week. The heat index was 105. So I called American Home Shield and said that it was not acceptable. I have underlying health issues. She told me to hold on a second and she was gonna find me somebody. The AC has been doing fine so Enchantment did a good job. It took a while to get the parts but no complaints for me. Louis, the rep, kept me updated. I live by myself and I don't have any grumpy spouse or kids saying it’s hot. So, I told Louis that it was not a big deal and to just let me know when they’re ready to work. I did the claim through a portal when the dishwasher stopped working. The tech came out and tested it. He walked me through the whole thing and he was pretty quick. It was really easy. He was professional. The part that was required to fix it wasn't available. We got the key card pretty quickly after the tech filed the rest of the claim for us. We had a clogged Kitchen sink drain so I made a call to American Home Shield. They set us up with a contractor right away. By that evening we had our appointment to take care of our problem.
This was my first experience with AHS, & I was quite impressed! The process was seemless. Technician called to schedule appt in a timely manner, resolved issue promptly & professionally!!
American Home Shield does what they advertised to do and I'm happy with that. When something went out on my air conditioner recently, I made a call to them. They scheduled an appointment and a week later, I had somebody out here fixing it. The contractor was very professional and he was in and out of here in half an hour. It's a good experience.
American Home Shield sent out Lone Star Water to fix a leak in our bathroom. I could tell it was leaking from the faucet and from underneath. I liked Lone Star. When their guy came, he looked and fixed the bottom part of it. He said that it was leaking from the faucet. But he didn't have the part and said he was gonna have to get back with me.
