There was constant water leaking from the freezer door. I called AHS and went through the automated prompts. Then, the tech from A & H Services called and said he was available and that he was just a few minutes away. He asked if he could come then and I told him yes because we had been having the problem for a week or so. He was out within 20 minutes. It was so punctual and I was shocked. American Home Shield is great. I like the communication and the fact that somebody reaches out almost instantly for a repair and for a time to come out. Recently, Service Specialist came out and assessed the issue with the washer. The guy explained it was of one or two things and he fixed it right away. He just had to order the parts. He came in on Monday and came back Thursday. It was good with them.
The fan stopped on the air conditioner and so, the house was hit hard. The first contractor who came was giving fake claims, where I had to get somebody from outside to do something on my AC. They claimed that they were the ones who put it but they didn't. Heritage came and did everything. They were professional and the repair helped. Now, I have cold air in my house. The knobs on the stovetop were no longer functioning and the contractor was very professional. I would hire them again if American Home Shield didn't send out that particular company. The technician was on time and very kind. They had to order parts but they came back within two days. So, the downtime was very minimal. Since then, everything has been excellent.
Our air conditioner stopped working. American Home Shield hooked me up with an air conditioner company. AHS gave me the phone number of the company. I called them and they came out the next day. We had to get a new air conditioner and furnace. Everything went fine. Home Shield was very nice.
When I moved in to my new place, I wanted to have the locks changed. I submitted a claim to American Home Shield but then the tech that they sent out didn't have the proper tools to do the job. He rekeyed my door but then there was a piece that wouldn't close all the way. He wasn't able to fix that part. While I can't blame the tech because he did what i asked, I expected AHS's locksmith to have all the tools that he needed.
The burner was overheating because the control on the knob malfunctioned and it was staying open. The technician from sears came and he was very efficient. He installed it and he was in and out. It was good. He was wearing his gloves and mask. They're very professional and very good. It's working okay now. Overall, American Home Shield is a godsend. Everything went well with Ragan & Molinet. The guy came out and replaced some fuses on the outside air conditioning unit. He was done in an hour or less. He was really nice, knowledgeable, fast and efficient. Everything is working perfectly fine now, thanks to American Home Shield. We plan on keeping them after our initial time.
American Home Shield was very easy to use and I'm happy with the service. I called for a plumbing stoppage and the rep was very nice. They then had Nussbaumer Plumbing come out and they fixed my drain for me.
