Everything was great. Submitting a claim was a very simple process and I was very pleased. I called. It was handled. I was thrilled. AHS is so great that I will renew it. I've been walking around raving about how my warranty was great. My experience couldn't have gone any better.

The lines of the AC kept freezing over so the house would not cool down. When turning it on and set a temperature, it will go up into the 80's. AHS sent the first guy and they added more gas to the system, which helped for two days or maybe a month, and then it went back to the same problem. The new guy that came out opened up the AC up into the attic and apparently, it was clogged with a lot of stuff. That seemed to have fixed the issue. If possible, I would like to be able to put in the comments when I put the claim online.... read more

A to Z Electric came out and checked my electric. I had a issue with a series of outlets not working. I used American Home Shield website to submit a claim. The website was fine and very straightforward. The website said either the contractors would reach out to me or I could reach out to them to set the appointment. A to Z was on time and showed up when they were supposed to. They contacted me quickly. Their administrator appointment person was very polite and quick. So, it was a good experience. Working with American Home ... read more

There was a water leak from the downspout of the shower, but it turned out that A-American Plumbing concluded it would be the grout and caulk. They're not permitted to do the fixes from secondary damage. I'd imagine that AHS knows. The idea was if it was a water leak, then it would be covered, but not on this aspect. They were good.

My washer wasn't draining and it was making loud noises. The issue was something I could not take care of myself. My husband submitted a claim online to American Home Shield. Their contractor from Whirlpool provided professional service. They ended up replacing the pump which forces water out of the unit. Everything has been wonderful since then. Before going with AHS we had a different warranty company for a while and we were dissatisfied with them. We've been with AHS for seven years now.

My son initiated the claim for the rangetop and then we got emails or text messages from there. Nana came out and they were real efficient in terms of texting and communication and follow-up. It did take three trips to get it fixed but they stayed with it. I've had two situations with AHS and both were resolved in a good way. It was an easy process and absolute resolution.

There was a leak in our AC unit and busted through all the Freon. I called that claim in to AHS and it was easy. All Comfort Specialist was assigned to come out. It was $300 for the Freon. Our AC is working now and everything's fine.

The refrigerator broke and I didn’t get through on the phone with AHS. But I was able to get through online. Once I did, they called me back and scheduled a time to come out and fix it. The contractor was wonderful. They had to order the parts and return. So, all in all, it took about four weeks and since the repair, the refrigerator has been working fine.
