The pipe was freezing in the fridge and that created a whole level of ice on the bottom. And then it would leak all over our kitchen floor when it reached a certain level. I filed a claim with Home Shield. The website was easy to navigate. Home Shield always says that the contractor will contact me in 24 hours, and they usually do. The guy from BRM Services was first sent out to fix our range. Then we had to call again and he fixed the dryer as it wouldn't dry. He was good, that's why I remember his name, Bob. I've had American Home Shield off and on since I've had the house which is close to 10 years and I like that they're prompt. It's pretty easy to set up an appointment and the deductibles are reasonable. Everything is very professional.
My downstairs drain was clogged and American Home Shield's contractor from Sewer Quest came out and snaked it out. They didn't get the trap back though and it was leaking so I did a recall through American Home Shield. The techs came back out and fixed that. Other than that, they did a great job and they were very polite. They were clean and wonderful. They wore their masks and boots and they swept up. I had a claim on our AC unit and American Home Shield sent TJ Morgan out. The service was great. They were fast with it and I had a great experience with them. The tech told me the fan motor wasn't working anymore. He told me that he had one in the vehicle, so he replaced it with a new one he had in the vehicle. He walked in here with a face mask. He did take precautions with it too. I love American Home Shield. As soon as I put a claim, it takes 24 hours to take care of it. So, I'm really happy with it.
There was water in the sink and we checked it out. There was a hole in the garbage disposal. So when the water ran in the sink, it ran into the garbage disposal. I called American Home Shield and they handled the problem. I thought that the contractor would not be here for two or three days because we live in kind of a rural area. But the gentlemen called that morning and he said, "I may not make it today, but I'll definitely be there tomorrow. Can you tell me what's going on?" The display on our thermostat for our downstairs unit wasn't working right. It wasn't showing any numbers and so the air conditioning just continually ran. We live in Texas and it was requiring manual off and on. We couldn't run it at night 'cause it was too cold. The upstairs air was running but it wasn't cooling the room. When the tech from Harlan Heating & Cooling got here, he said that it was probably low on refrigerant. So, he refilled it. He was on-time and very professional. Since he came out it, we had one pretty hot day, and I'm not sure if we were running into the same problem or we should give it enough time to cool, but it still was kinda hot up there. But other than that, I haven't had any problems with it. Having American Home Shield has been so far, so good.
American Home Shield's contractor from Choose the Right Door came out to my place. The tech from there fixed my garage doors quickly over two separate days as initially, he didn't have everything needed to fix my other door which needed a spring. For my other door, he just took things and screwed them back in place after showing me what the problem was. Still, he came back and did a wonderful job. Submitting the request was amazingly easy online! A contractor telephoned within less than a hour to schedule a visit for my issues. Which was scheduled for the next day. The day of the appointment the technician called to let me know he was enroute. And arrived in timely manner shortly after our phone conversation.
