I sent a claim in with Home Shield for my AC and Mountain Heating & Cooling scheduled for one week, but then somebody called in sick so they had to reschedule. But it went great. The tech came out and he looked around. I told him what the problem was. He pulled out the filter, which I didn't even know was there, and said I don't need the filter because I have the other two. He said it should take care of the problem and it did. Home Shield was very reliable and they were fast.
I called Home Shield and spoke with someone regarding a service request. It was a very easy making the request. They gave me Lake Plumbing as my contractor. It was simple and quick.
I've had good luck with American Home Shield. I've had them for just about every home that I've owned in the last 20 years and I've enjoyed their service. It gives peace of mind that if something goes wrong, they're there and it's a simple deductible. They have proven vendors that they know can come out and do the work and you don't have to research to find somebody you can trust. I recently bought my home warranty through American Home Shield and I am happy I did. Within a month my AC needed maintenance during a heatwave. I have a 6-month baby, so it was very nice that they prioritized my job. Thank you!
DrainGo was really friendly and nice. They did a good job. Our water heater was leaking really bad. They let us know that if it was working right, there shouldn't be any leaking at all. So they went in, put a new valve on there and fixed it. It seemed like they knew what they were doing.
American Home Shield sent A-US Air Conditioning of Texas out. I asked for the service because our unit was not cooling at all. I called American Home Shield and the same day, they let me know that the contractor had been assigned and would be contacting me. A-US was very informative. They quickly determined what the problem was and tried to remedy it but the system was too old. The work that I had done that first time they came out did nothing. The water pump wasn't working and the tech fixed it. He was really nice. He was a very good person. The pump had some stuff. He cleaned it out and it’s working good. The claims rep that I dealt with was really nice as well. He was really respectful. I love AHS. The contractors always send a message on when they’re gonna be there the next day.
I was having issues with my air conditioning unit. In my process and online request for service, AHS immediately replied with the service that I would be using, who would be assisting me. They said that they will contact me or if I needed immediate service, I could go ahead and reach out to them. The contractor came and asked where the air conditioning unit was. I directed him. I had an issue with my sink in the kitchen. When I was submitting my claim to American Home Shield, I spent a long time on hold because I couldn't figure out how to submit online. I want to be able to call in and get things handled instead of having to figure out how to go online, get a work order then wait for somebody to call me back.
