My recent claim with American Home Shield was for a pipe. The claim was really easy. I went online, submitted the claim and I got a text for the person to call. It's probably one of the easiest claim processes since I've had one. I loved the contractor. The service was easy, quick, and they were responsive and did it well. I'm very satisfied.
American Home Shield sent me two different guys for my AC units and everything went perfectly. The first guy came out and said that he'd be back in a half-hour 'cause he said that the unit was frozen. He knew what he was talking about but he just had a little bit of an attitude. Then the second guy came out and put the Freon into the AC. He was a younger guy and he knew exactly everything. He was excellent and I really liked him. They were able to get my AC units fixed. I speak with a representative when I make claims to American Home Shield and it’s very easy to get ahold of them. I have AHS at my home that's currently a rental in North Carolina and I have not received feedback from the residents there that there were any issues with them. So, everything is fine. They've been very prompt, professional and has been very reliable in whatever issues I’ve had.

It was easy to submit claims to Home Shield. GE Appliances came out for the refrigerator and did a wonderful job. The tech was perfect and very polite. The refrigerator is working fine.
It takes a couple of days before you find out who is gonna come when you call American Home Shield. Fortunately, for our induction cooktop claim with Attwoods, I was notified that day. The technician was very professional. He had a mask on and wore booties. He also had a bottle of hand sanitizer. He asked if we had a garage where he could come through. He let me open the door. I had Home Shield for quite a few years when I first bought my house. I was really happy with the service but I couldn't use it. Most of my appliances were on a warranty, so I dropped them. But as soon as I thought to myself that it has come to the time where a lot of things were off the warranties again, I went straight to them. The AC unit itself wouldn't turn on. I could hear it try but it wouldn't kick on. It turned out to be a pretty simple repair. The guy was here five minutes and replaced the part and off he went. I've been with American Home Shield for 12 years now and I'm happy with the process overall. Sometimes there are contractor issues, but not much overall. It works for what it is. They're pretty generous about their repairs and what happens. It's always been a good value for me year in and year out to have the product.
The AC stopped working. It wasn't turning on or cooling. I filed a claim to American Home Shield and the Sierra people were able to come out pretty quickly. The turnaround time was pretty good and they were able to fix the issue on the same day that they came out. As far as claim submission, everything goes fine mostly.
