Our house is now 10 years old and we've got a couple of things wrong like with our air conditioner. I told American Home Shield that my husband had open heart surgery. Also, I'm old. We're very concerned about having anybody. In the last two or three months, we couldn't have anyone in. We felt compromised with the COVID. The dial on my dishwasher where you turn it on had an issue. I talked to AHS about setting up an appointment for somebody to come. Then I got an email that said when to expect to hear from the company. Above and Beyond Appliance Repair was perfect. They went over and above and I would have them back. If I could call somebody directly or refer somebody to a service provider, I would certainly do that. The two young men that came out were very mannerly and very professional. Six months after I bought our house, there was an issue with our hot water heater. I paid my co-pay with American Home Shield and their contractor came out and fixed the unit. I've been with AHS for about a year and a half now. I called in my claims with them and it was all automated. I haven't had an issue with their claims process. Burleson Services was assigned for an AC claim and everything was fine. The next day a tech came and that person explained everything well.

My furnace was making an unbalanced washing machine sound and I made a claim to American Home Shield. When I pulled up the app on the phone, it wasn't air conditioning because it was coming from the furnace itself. The air conditioner is the thing outside. I was going to select Furnace but there was nothing under Furnace for sound, so I selected Other. They dispatched the contractor and the guy found it weird that we have no heat but it's summer. ABNation scheduled the service within two hours from submitting the online claim. They were going to come out on the same day but I wasn't available. Their technician came out and he knew what he was doing. He took care of the issue and it didn't take too long. Also, he had a mask on and he kept his distance. I've been with American Home Shield for years and I have no complaints. Their representatives are great.

Our AC unit was low on Freon. Hospitality Heating and Air conditioning came out and fixed that. American Home Shield has been a lifesaver. When filing claims, I've used calling them and then doing it online. It's very easy. I've recommended it to a lot of my friends and colleagues to let them know that it's better to have it and not need it than need it and don't have it.

The AC downstairs was not blowing out cold air. My husband called American Home Shield and spoke to a representative to let them know. Last year, our upstairs unit stopped working and the issue was the compressor and they had to add Freon. A couple of months ago with the downstairs unit, the tech did see the same thing and reached out and made the representative aware and to schedule an appointment. On line is good but there are times when you need to speak to a real person.Having to be on hold for an hour is not good customer service.Most of the service vendors have been very good.

My bedroom ceiling fans were broken. They were on the cheaper side, and their wires were hanging and busted. I called AHS and they said that the contractor would call me over 24 or 48 hours. But he never called and I had to call him. Other than that, the guy who came out was nice and he took care of what we had to take care of. The ceiling fans were installed correctly and since then, the performance has been perfect. All in all, AHS has been great and I love them.
