Beyer Appliance came out because the dishwasher wasn't filling with water. It just calmed no matter what setting you put it on all the way around. He found like a float. He ordered that and then the one that swishes the water around was broken. So he replaced those and it worked great. Then I used it once, went out of town, came back and by the time I have enough dishes to run another cycle, the same thing, it didn't work. But when he came out, he was like, "It's working just fine. I called American Home Shield for my oven and my dishwasher. Both North Star and American Home Shield coordinated with me. I didn't have a good experience this last time with American Home Shield but it got all resolved and I was very happy in the end. I love everything about North Star Appliance.
The sink wasn't draining and something was stuck in it. Sirius showed up and they did the job in a professional way. They cleaned it up and made it sure it was fine. Also, they gave me some instructions for when it's stuck again.
I had an issue with my dryer. The claim experience was good. I was satisfied with the work. The technician came out and assessed the situation pretty quickly. Then they had to order the replacement part, so that took a little bit. But then, they called me once the part came in. I was actually on an out-of-town vacation, but soon as I got back, I called them. They scheduled for the technician to come out. He came out and put it in in about 15 minutes and then he was done. The AC was blowing hot air. This is the second time I called American Home Shield and nobody answered the phone. That's the bad thing about them. Finally, I went online and it was easy to place a claim. The contractor, John, was great, fantastic, and professional. He showed up on time and he was excellent. It's been comfortable since the repair. I live in Florida and I need AC especially in the summer. I just wish AHS answers the phone. Not everybody has conveniently online on their computer or their phone to log in.
American Home Shield's contractor, Nutex Mechanical came to my place twice. They replaced the toilet one time and the other time, they came for a garbage disposal issue. I liked the ease of response with AHS. With them, I get a contractor between two to four days.
We had had a refrigerator repair guy come out who thought that the problem was electrical. Miguel from MC Electric came out and found out that it wasn't, that the electricity was in order. A breaker had thrown and somebody didn't see it so it was a very simple fix. MC Electric has been here a couple of times and Miguel is always very efficient. Our air conditioner stopped working, so we initiated a claim through the website of AHS. The website was very easy. I was told I’d be contacted within 24 hours, and the contractors were out here within 24 hours. It was some broken part in there that they replaced. The guy was really nice. He immediately knew what the problem was and had the part on the truck. So it was fixed within an hour and he was on his way. It was great. However, I'm not completely sold on American Home Shield.
