The claim was handled great. The plumber did his best, but there's nothing he could do about it. I'm getting hot water through my cold water line and to figure that out, you'd have to go into the wall. I'll need to call the company that installed it to figure out what's going on if they even could tell me what's going on. The water is really, really hot coming through the cold water line. It clears, but it shouldn't be getting that hot. But overall, I'm satisfied with AHS. I've also had electricity claims which were handled ... read more

The part that heats up the oven went out and I contacted American Home Shield. They assigned a contractor to repair it but because of the COVID-19 stuff that's going on, the contractor gave me a date when they thought that they would be able to repair it, which was about three weeks later. We don't use our oven that often, so it wasn't that big of an issue. They came when they said they were gonna come. The technician fixed it in about 15 minutes and all was good. The only thing is that AHS assigned it to the contractor, whi... read more

I don't like the website of AHS. I think that you should talk to a customer service person because you can explain it a little bit more. Because it doesn't always fit exactly what you're talking about in the website. It limits you on how you can explain what it is you want. Because if someone has two bathrooms, you can explain it to the customer service, because you can be having the same issue in the other bathroom too. But to call it in one time, and then to call it in again, to me, that doesn’t make sense. So, when you ta... read more

The AC unit just stopped. I filed the claim and got a text message that my claim had been forwarded over to Carolina Air. Then I ended up getting a phone call saying when they were gonna come over. The gentleman that came over was really nice and helpful. He explained what he was doing. He told me everything that was wrong. He explained why he had to come back the second time because the first guy that came over did something and it broke again. The AC has been good since. It hasn't cut back off or broken so I'm confident th... read more

American Home Shield is great. I had them for another home and for this home, I've had them now for about three months. I've already told several people about them. Recently, J&J Mechanical came out for my dishwasher and my refrigerator. I filed the claim through the website and it was very easy to navigate. It stated from there that they had up until 48 hours to contact me and that happened. They were able to fix the refrigerator. The first time they came out, they found that the seals on the front of the dishwasher were ba... read more

Our thermostat stopped working, so it was blank, and the AC shut down. I went online to submit a claim with AHS and the process was pretty good. Plus, it was fast and I didn't have to be on hold with anyone. I really liked it. I got a confirmation as soon as I put in the request and it said that the contractor was going to call me within 24 hours. Then, I got a text that the contractor was going to be here the next day. So it was very swift, very quick, and I didn't have to wait or follow up with anyone. When the techs came ... read more

Calling in my claim for an AC issue to American Home Shield was very easy to do. They sent A-US Air Conditioning of Tulsa to handle it. The techs from there replaced my AC's 18-year-old drain pan which had holes in it. We had a leak from there coming down. Since the replacement, the AC has been running well. Overall, AHS has been great and I've had good experiences with them. I'd recommend them to other people.

I had an issue with my AC unit. I got a chance to go on the American Home Shield website and I stated what the issue was. I paid the deductible and they gave me the contact information of the company that would come out and help. But this time of year, the company was a little busy so it took them a couple of days to come out. But once they came, they were fast and efficient. I described the problem to the tech and he pretty much knew exactly what the problem was. He had his mask on and he had booties on his shoes so that he... read more

I was having backup in my bathroom and kitchen sinks. Submitting a claim to American Home Shield for a repair was an easy process. They sent Ray Stovall Plumbing out and the techs who came fixed my problem. Having AHS has been a great idea. Repairs on appliances and systems in my home are extremely expensive and I think their warranty very much worth it. I'm happy with Home Shield.
