The microwave oven was not working. I submitted a claim to American Home Shield on the internet. The contractor they sent was good. They came in and replaced a part. My experience was excellent.
I submit claims to Home Shield online and then, I would get an email and a text when to expect the contractors. I've been pretty happy with the contractors. They're very helpful and very knowledgeable. Elite Heating & Air Conditioning has been working off and on on my air conditioner. I have recommended Home Shield to my friends. They've saved us thousands of dollars.
I called American Home Shield once and everything got fixed. Since it was my first claim with them, I got what I expected to happen. It went pretty well.
American Home Shield sent someone for our AC the very first time, and they were delinquents. It was horrible. They didn't finish the service. But after that, everything was 100% recommendable. One of the rooms wasn't cooling so we wanted to make sure that there wasn't anything broken in the attic. The technicians inspected the AC and everything was good. They did some adjustments on the fence and that seemed to help a little bit. It's working now. It was just that one room so, you can feel that it's cooler than it was. We were having a leak and a rummage in the plumbing. It was simple to submit the claim with American Home Shield and the tech they sent out made a fix immediately. But the statement that was made in our home wasn't translated on the report, so a part of the service wasn't covered by the warranty. Contractors need to annotate what they tell you in your home on their report to AHS.
I filed a claim with AHS online for the AC and Integrity Conditioning & Heating was dispatched in a couple of days. The guy that came by was very friendly and very efficient. He knew exactly what he was doing. He wasn't here long and the problem was solved. The AC has been functioning great.
Our most recent claim was a garage door opener service. The contractor was very professional. They did a great job. Since the repair, everything is still working pretty good. I like doing business with American Home Shield. It is a great service.
I've had claims with AHS where I've had big issues. They've been getting dragged on for months and I'm not happy with that at all. Things take a lot of time with Home Shield and they don't cover a lot. With my AC problem, they only covered 30% instead of the entire problem. Recently, my outside faucet and hose was leaking water.
