They were easy to reach to explain my problem. They assigned a company that contacted me within a few hours and quickly made an appointment for the next day. The technician arrived on time, was very professional, proficient , followed all Covid19 protocols, as well as wearing his booties at all times and cleaned up after himself when finished. Seems like a good company with which to have a warranty for your home.
My air conditioner wasn't giving me any cold air. Submitting a claim for it over the phone to American Home Shield was really simple. My son made the call and he said everything went well. AHS sent a contractor and the tech fixed my issue that day. He was very nice. Everything went really smoothly and I'm glad the tech was able to fix things. I like what Home Shield has been doing for me for me so far.
I had a floor drain in my basement that wasn't draining. I called American Home Shield. They set up an appointment with Thomas Brothers. The plumbers came out two days after the initial claim was filed. The guy that did the work, Scott, was very personable, very knowledgeable, was very quick to get right to fixing the problem, and gave me a little advice on how to prevent that type of situation from occurring in the future. I had an issue with the wax ring on my toilet. I submitted a claim to American Home Shield and their contractor Advanced Heating and Air figured out the problem and got it fixed. Their tech had the needed part and fixed up my toilet. I really like the service I'm getting so far with American Home Shield. It's of great value and we've been extremely pleased with them.
We had water leaking from our rental's furnace. I called in a claim to American Home Shield and told them to send someone out. My tenant had to put a bucket to catch the water that was coming out of there and she had to keep emptying the bucket as the water was leaking so fast. The rep told me that Hospitality Heating and Air Conditioning, one of their contractors would come the following day. My AC wouldn't blow out cold air and wouldn't work at all. I submitted a claim to American Home Shield and a guy from May Heating and Air came to do service. AHS doesn't take long to send their contractors out. They were gonna send someone else out initially and I told them that contractor would take too long and that they should find me someone else who could come out earlier. The tech from May Heating was nice and professional and he was able to fix things that same day.
I had a clogged line that Integrity Air Conditioning Service unclogged. Then, they made two trips out because the lines on my air conditioning keep freezing up on me on the outside and they can't seem to figure out what was wrong. They told me I needed coil cleaning. I can't afford that, so I told them I can't do that right now because they want $700 for it. I told them I got a guy in a church that does air conditioning. The garbage disposal was leaking. I went online and logged into my Home Shield account. The website was easy enough to use. Then, I was given a number to reach out to Cornerstone and the plumber came out. He determined that the bottom of the disposal had pretty much rotted out. He said it's common after a number of years because of the hard water in the area. He got a replacement unit and replaced it. The guy did a very good job.
The AC wasn't working and the temperature started rising all of a sudden. I tried to submit a claim online before in the past and it wasn't recognizing my account number. So my husband called to make a claim. They said somebody would contact us the next business day to schedule an appointment because it was a Sunday when we called.
