On the hottest week we've had, my AC unit decided to go blip. It kept blowing air but it wasn't cooling my place. My husband handled the claim submission process and AHS sent Elite Heating & Air Conditioning. So far, we have had good luck with the contractors Home Shield sends out. I've had really good experiences with AHS. I recommend their warranty in my business and my customers have had really good experiences with them as well.
My recent claim with AHS went really well. National Platinum had to come out a couple of times about the ice maker, but they kept coming back and got it. So, it's supposed to be working. It just started holding up again this morning. I'm gonna have to call them again, but they've been really good to come out and do what we needed. I had a heater issue and I submitted a claim by phone to American Home Shield. The rep whom I spoke to was excellent and in five days, their techs from Universal Plumbing came. They provided good service and things have been excellent since then.
I had issue a little while after I moved in called and received prompt service and issue was resolved very pleased with service so far.
My claim with Home Shield was handled very promptly. When I called, they told me who would be in touch with me. That person called within 24 hours and they were out here very promptly. They determined that it was the condenser in my air conditioning unit, and they replaced it very quickly and efficiently.Submitting claims to Home Shield has been an easy process. First, the contractor couldn't figure out what was wrong with the AC so they told me I needed to replace a breaker that I didn't need to. I replaced that. Then they came out and couldn't figure it out so I told them what the issue was with the air conditioner. They said that they'd order what I told them to order. Then they told me that they wanted to put on new Freon in the system when it has Freon.Originally, he was gonna charge me $350 for the Freon. My AC line was plugged up from mold. I had no difficulty with my claim submission and AHS did everything just like they should do. They were very kind and helpful. They assigned my claim to Yantra Air and their tech put some Clorox and cleaned out the unit. He told me how to take care of it too. It was an excellent job. This is the first time I've ever had a home warranty and my experience has been top of the line. On both times that contractors came, they did everything and were very professional.
The water heater was not functioning as it should. The AHS website worked pretty well when I placed an online ticket order for it. K & K did an excellent job. Everything has been functioning very well. We run an in-home daycare so having hot water is pretty important. It has been a pretty positive experience with American Home Shield, so far. It came with the house when we bought it and then we renewed it because it paid for itself.
My niece had had really good luck with American Home Shield and she had given me a really good recommendation on them so I went with them. I renewed them just to keep the warranty. Our AC keeps breaking. It stopped last night. So this is the fourth time that I've had to claim on it for the same thing.
