Our washing machine wouldn’t work. We could not get it to work. We had a guy stop by and he said, “It’s not good. You got to call.” So, that was when I called AHS. Then the contractors of AHS came out. He said it was shot and it was no good. I said, “Shouldn’t you fix it? He said, “I don’t know. We’ll let you know.” Then they came back and said, “Okay, it’s repairable.” So, when AHS asked, we ordered one online, which was great and it was delivered perfectly on time. Bragg's Appliance came out for our dryer that wouldn't turn on. They replaced one part, saying that if it went out again, it was probably another part but sometimes, it's not always the other part. So we should test it and run it. If it messes up again, I should put in the second request and he would come back and fix it. Then it was the other part. We had a plumbing issue and a claim was filed to American Home Shield. The guy from High Priority Plumbing called me. Something caught up in the shower tub, and the guy got it out. He had to unscrew something. It was clogged. It's fine now. The guy was very professional. He was excellent.
Always dependable and send reputable service providers
Submitting a claim with AHS was really easy and I felt that I could do that again. It wasn't time-consuming at all. I can also do my request online. I submitted a claim because the garage wouldn't let up and let down. The button to open the garage wouldn't work, and then we couldn't use the remote to open the garage. The contractors came early morning, 'cause most of the time when people say it's between 9:00 and this, it'd be at the latter end of that. But they came early enough and it was good. I was able to input my repair request online, and was contacted by the repair service with in a day of my request.
It's been a little over a year since we've had American Home Shield now, but we also kept them when we moved to a different property address. Some of the representatives are extremely helpful and some are not so much. Also, the biggest thing is understanding the contract. There was one out of pocket payment that we had to do and in our contract, there's no removal of the water heater. While everything was covered, we had to pay to have the old water heater removed.
