Prime Plumbing came out the first time, and the gentleman was very polite. I thought he had fixed it. Then later on that evening, I was using the restroom and I noticed the water was still coming out in the back. They came back out yesterday and fixed it. I hadn't had another problem with it so far. I have had American Home shield for 5 years and I have had a fairly substantial need for their services over the years. I have been a licensed Real Estate Broker since 1970 and I was introduced to the program in 2005 when I was helping my wife as a Buyer\'s agent. The program is inexpensive when you consider the cost of repair or replacement of a front load clothes washer or even worse, an HVAC system. One day, our pump wouldn't come on. We called American Home Shield and their reps set up my claim right away. We submitted the claim online on a Sunday and using their website was easy. We just logged in and answered a few questions. By Monday morning, Home Shield contractor SunBright Pool Services had come out and fixed my issue. So far, it's been great having AHS.
I have heard a lot of horror stories with home warranty companies, but honestly, I have been genuinely impressed by American Home Shield. My experience with them has been simple, helpful, straightforward and productive. I really appreciate their integrity and their willingness to perform the services that I paid for. I highly recommend this company for your home warranty.
I've only used American Home Shield with this claim. The thing wasn't generating ice no matter what I did and I checked everything. This issue had been there since the first week we owned the house. This is the third time that the water was leaking behind the glass and running down the front of the freezer door, where we put our glass to get filtered water out. One panel is for water, one is for ice and one of them went bad. A technician came and he was good. It took a while for him to get the part though. My AC system went out. I submitted a claim with AHS and they sent out Fick's Mechanical. But by the time the tech got there, the air had adjusted itself. The AC was working fine and I didn't have a problem. But the tech was very nice and very presentable. I was also very pleased with AHS and I like that they will send someone out in a timely manner.
I contacted American Home Shield for a potential leaky situation for the furnace. They said that they would have someone to contact me, see what time was best to suit my needs and have a company come out. I got off the phone then someone called back. A person came in and they said they fixed the issue. Something was not right and American Home Shield sent someone back immediately to rectify the issue. The furnace appears to be okay as of now. I’m happy with his prompt service and professionalism. He was earlier than expected. As well as showing me how to take care of the air conditioner. While talking me through it he showed me part that he changed and everything.
