We noticed that we didn't have hot water so we called American Home Shield. They sent out NB Plumbing. They were kind of hard to get ahold of at first. They said on their answering machine that they had after-hours services. They didn't though. But once we were able to get ahold of them, they worked well with us and were able to get us on the schedule sooner because American Home Shield expedited it. I like American Home Shield's overall service. I'm glad I have them and I'm gonna keep them. A&R Complete Service did a great job and that was the second time they went out to my house. The first time the coolant was low and this time the entire motor shut down. I called and they offered to come out the following day but it wasn't convenient so we asked for the following day. They were always very professional, nice and on time. They call when they're coming over.
We submitted a claim for the AC through my account and then the contractor called me and gave me a decent time. The tech showed up right out when he should have. He was very polite. They did an awesome job. They were very professional. The AC has been working better than it did. I've noticed it's colder than it's been in a very long time. It's actually shutting off now and it stays at one temp it should.
The upstairs AC unit was not getting cool air. When I first called, the contractor said they would be out on Saturday. But they got here pretty fast. They hurried up and they found out that the thermostat was out. They told me what was wrong and they fixed it. I had good service from them. The contractors that AHS have seemed to know what they’re doing. They know their job. The work has been efficient and up to standards.
The freezer is having a problem with doing icemaker. They said they couldn't get the parts and that the parts weren't being made anymore. So they turned it over to a company. When I called the company, they said that when they can't get the parts, it's on American Home Shield's appliance department. I have been calling for over a week now. Every time I call, it tells me that it's gonna be a three-hour wait. One day, it took at least four hours and they still didn't come. The gentleman from Air Climate Solutions was very nice. The air conditioner stopped working. My husband went and checked in the fuse. The power had went out. The gentleman fixed it and all was good. American Home Shield is a good thing to have. I like the comfort of knowing that if something happens, most of the time, they're gonna cover it. I had one problem with them with my water heater. Other than that, they've been great.
I sent an account and scheduled a rekey online with AHS. The tech from Jim Heath Locksmith Company responded to me after a few hours and he scheduled the next day. Then he came over and did my locks. This is the first interaction I had with any maintenance crew and it was a good experience.
Had to us them twice, one for garage door opener and one for air conditioner. they ordered repair right away and gave us name and number of company doing service and service repairs were completed the next day. Both companies they used were excellent and fast. I recommend American Home Shield.
One of my tenants said that my rental's plumbing was backed up. I called American Home Shield and they sent Whitney Holdings. The techs went out and took care of the problem that same day. The tenant called back and told me that the tech who was sent did an excellent job and now everything is working. I've had a couple of claims through American Home Shield that I wasn't too happy with. My tenant's refrigerators were messed up and AHS's contractor messed up the parts.
