I had a plumbing claim and the technician from Circa Mechanical came right away. He ended up coming back out the following week because he didn't have the garbage disposal. Everything went flawless with O’Donnel Doors. The guy was on time and did the job right away. The garage door wouldn’t open at all. It was trying but it didn't open. You can hear the motor running, but it wasn’t opening. So, he replaced the parts inside. He disassembled the box and he put everything back together, so it's working perfectly. I’ve been with American Home Shield for a long time and when submitting claims, usually, once you get through, it's easy. But if you call it in, you're on the phone forever. We had a plugged up sink in the guest bathroom. The first time the rep from Boss Plumbing came out, he put a snake through the sink in the bathroom but that didn't do anything. Three days later, he came back with a camera. He went to the kitchen and cut a hole. He ran the camera through the main water line and saw that it was plugged up in the main line.... read more
The on-line claims process was easy. There was great communication with AHS and the repair company throughout the repair process. The technician arrived timely and was friendly and professional. Happy to have AHS as my service provider!
The claims process of AHS is very simple and so easy. Recently, I submitted a claim because the fuel tank was busted. The contractors came right on out and they looked at it and determined like, "This thing is busted, gotta replace it." So they fixed that. They went out in a matter of 30 to 45 minutes, found me a new tank with all new parts inside, brought it in and installed it in like record time. Someone came out for the oven. It didn't heat up. I called American Home Shield to file the claim for it. The oven’s working great now.
Home Shield was very efficient. The only thing was there was a miscommunication with giving my phone number to Gator Drain and Plumbing. They gave me the contact information, so I called Gator and said they had the wrong number. Other than that, Gator was very efficient and professional. With the COVID, the tech did everything he had to. He came in with gloves and a mask, and he cleaned up after himself. Everything was really good. He was in and out, took care of my problem, fixed it.
We just bought our home recently and we were advised that within the home warranty, we are allowed a one-time rekey for the entire house. We requested the service with Home Shield online and the website said they would contact me within a short window of time. I was contacted within the timeframe and Realty Rekey came out. They changed all the locks out in the house and did a great job.
Our garbage disposal was leaking underneath the sink. It was very easy to file the claim on the website through AmericanHomeShield.com. It said somebody would contact me within 24 hours to let me know the date and the tech came out the very next day. He told us what he thought the issue was. He went back to get his tools and then came back and replaced it and then described it all over again. He was done within 10 minutes. It was great.
