Mostly they are good to work with. Sometimes they send our contractors that are not able to help.
I've had AHS for two years. It's the first time I've used it and my experience was good. The door on my washing machine broke and I had to buy a new washer. I'm just waiting for the refund check from Home Shield.
They work hard to get things completed as promised.
My kitchen refrigerator and my dryer weren't working. American Home Shield emailed the claim to the Express Appliance and the company called me on the same day about when the technician gonna come. The technician did a good job. The refrigerator right now is working but the dryer is not working that much. The tech checked the dryer and he said it was heating up. But it's still not drying. Professionalism, Promptness, Referral Satisfaction
I only did a claim once and it was streamlined. The electrical in the kitchen and the fans wouldn't work. American Home Shield had somebody who was texting me before I got off the phone. We scheduled for two weeks and they took care of it. When it came to my fans, I know AHS has a certain allotted amount to purchase something. I just think that if I have the allotted part and if I'm getting it done over anyway, why can't I pay the additional to get a better product that I want? I’ll also pay for my own upgrade. I had excellent service. The company that was sent out did an excellent job.
Great way to get things fixed without any surprises. They will get it fixed.
Have had only 1 occasion to use the service and the process went well. Somewhat difficult to make the original connection but the service that was provided was very good.
