I had a light fixture that was out and my ceiling fan was not working. The technician from RJ Wiggins came in and he was so friendly. He went on in there, saw the problem, and then handled it just fine. Submitting the claim with Home Shield was simple and easy but because of COVID, it took a long time before I got someone on the phone. Other than that, I had no other issues.
My ice maker on the refrigerator stopped working. I went online and submitted the claim with AHS and their website was very easy to use. This is the second time that Miller Appliance and Repair came out. The first time they came out was for my heater. Their technician was very professional. I asked him to wear a mask and he had no problem doing it. Everything has been functioning perfectly. I recommended AHS to my brother-in-law and my sister-in-law.
I know nothing about maintenance and that’s why I got American Home Shield. I don’t have anybody to fix stuff around here. I'm a girl, girl. When my power kept shutting off, I went to the AHS website. It was easy and simple for me to kinda figure out what I needed to select so it was fine. My experiene was outstanding. I called to request service and was given a response right away. I was given a company to handle my repairs and a customer number. By the time I hung up from requesting service the company was calling to see what day was available for them to come to service my item. AHS is wonderful and the copay is unbelivable.
Our air conditioning would run for a while then stop completely. Sometimes, it would be hours before it would come back on. Vail Heating and Cooling was the company sent out and they came very promptly. We appreciated it very much. They seemed competent and our air conditioner has been working fine since yesterday. I'm very pleased. The only thing is now with the COVID-19, it's very difficult sometimes to get in touch with American Home Shield by telephone.
My cold water in my shower wasn't shutting off all the way. American Home Shield responded right away and got the referral going on the same day. Then I got a call back and it went really good. The guy from Advanced Home Services was really professional and he did a good job.
I'm a real estate agent and I've been selling American Home Shield for 30 years. I am happy with the plan. I'm not going to recommend it if I don't feel like they do what I lead my clients to believe that they do. So far, so good. It's been only recently that I've used it myself. The air conditioning just quit working. There was no cooling at all. It's 100 degrees in Georgia in the summer, so we definitely need a running AC. The Home Shield website was easy to use when I put the claim in and then I was told that somebody would contact me within 24 hours. Some of the options could be more specific on the website. For example, when I had to put in the second and third requests, the problem had changed but there wasn't really a way for me to show that. Everything went well so far with Total Air Care. The guy knew what he was doing. He came in, did what he had to do, and he left. He was very good at what he does. He had a mask and all the stuff on for precautions. I had no problem since he came out and fixed the unit. I feel American Home Shield is a good company. They come right out. I pay my little deductible and I’m done with it. I recommend it to everybody.
