There was a leak in my roof and there were brown spots forming in my living room ceiling. Those spots were getting bigger so I know there was some type of leak in the attic. I filed the claim with them, came by and American Home Shield's tech from Universal Plumbing came by. He found that there was some problem with my air conditioning which was too backed up. American Home Shield has quick service.
I submitted a claim with AHS because the outlet for the garbage disposal wasn't working. The technician that came out was clean. He was a very good technician. He knew what he was doing. He also came on time and I appreciate that.
The spin cycle of our washer wasn't working. I called American Home Shield. The contractors that came out were great. They did their job and they fixed the washing machine. Everything's working great.
We just moved into a new house and we were rekeying it. We reached out to American Home Shield online. A man from Dan's Pro-Lock came out for the rekey. He was good and I didn't have a problem. It was great. The only thing is I'd like to see a more user-friendly website for American Home Shield. It was shocking. It was not easy to get in and to navigate. So far, American Home Shield has been good. When our kitchen sink was clogged, they had Gaithersburg Plumbing fix it and they were done in a heartbeat. I just submitted the claim online and it told me that someone was gonna call from this place. The plumbing company called me and then we made an appointment and they came. It was easy. I didn’t go through any person. It was all online.
I had a claim on the refrigerator. I was unable to change the water filter. It just would not come out. My husband and I couldn't get it out. Rather than taking a risk of really doing more damage than good, we just went ahead and made the claim with AHS. I went online and said, “I've got a claim, I've got a problem.” It didn't give me a choice.
