My AC wasn't cooling. I submitted a claim to AHS and they sent Island Breeze HVAC. After the first time they came out, the AC worked for a while then it quit working again. The second time, they took care of what was going on with it. My AC is working fine now.
I did use American Home Shield once and they had good service. Their contractor came to check on some leakage I had in my ceiling in my old house and they did a good job. The only problem I had was somebody was supposed to come back and fix where they took out the ceiling parts. They took them out because somebody else had to do it and the person that came was gonna come and fix it was so busy he couldn't. The wires in the electrical panel came loose and it ended up frying my garage door opener and a charger I had plugged in. Whitney T Holdings was supposed to order a part for my garage door opener. But that hasn't been taken care of yet and I haven't heard anything from anybody. Every time I try to call, I'm put on an hour wait and I can't sit on the phone for an hour. The refrigerator wasn't cooling and American Home Sheild made an appointment. Maughanster Appliance Repair called me right away the next day. They're awesome. They were and very professional. They did a great job and I'd highly recommend them to anyone. They've helped me with all my appliances and they've been fantastic. The turn around time was excellent! From the time I placed the call to the time the a/c repair company was on my door step was about 48 hours. The repairman was on time, knowledgeable, friendly, pet friendly, quick and efficient.
We had a faucet in our kitchen sink that wouldn't work. It's one of those Delta faucets that has a cartridge in it and spigot that comes out of it. The guy from Flow Masters Plumbing Solutions came, took it all apart to find out what's the problem, and put it all back together. It's working beautifully now. My friend has American Home Shield. I was like, let me try it. Recently, F6 Plumbing came out and it was good. They were very fast and in and out. I submitted that claim online to AHS and it was really easy and simple. I had an issue last week with my dryer. Someone came out, but they were unable to fix it because that needed a part. We have been members of American Home Shield for three years. During that time we have received excellent service when we called with problems concerning our air conditioning, microwave and washing machine. Their response is prompt, communication is plain, their vendors are first rate. We highly recommend American Home Shield to our neighbors and friends.
Our kitchen sink had a leak and our upstairs toilet had an issue. I went online and got the customer service number of American Home Shield. Their reps were great over the phone. I told the one I spoke to about the sink and the toilet and she said it would not be a problem to submit both issues under one claim since they were both plumbing issues.
