When my wife and I bought our home 3 years ago, a close friend recommended Home Shield. It has been one of the best things we ever did for ourselves. The coverage is very extensive and when something goes wrong we simply log on and make a claim. We are always contacted quickly and the problem is attended to within 24 hours. My AC wasn't working so I went online to make a service request. American Home Shield's website was pretty easy. Comfort Pros was selected for me and I got a text message that said I should be expecting them to call. The contractor did and made an appointment. Two young gentlemen showed up. I live in an older home and it's good peace of mind for having coverage from American Home Shield on items in the home. I had sinks that were running slow and one of them was completely clogged. I called the office and the AHS reps were great. They told me that I would hear from them and then they would let me know a window when All Clear Plumbing & Drain was coming. My washer went out and the technician came and diagnosed it. The ball bearings in the washer were shot. So he told me right upfront that it couldn't be fixed and that they would have to order a new washer. They handled it real well. I've been with AHS for two years and the service is good. I only use the service a couple of times, but when I did, everything worked out real good. Everybody was cordial. American Home Shield sent National Platinum Service for the refrigerator. Water was collecting at the bottom of the freezer. When the guy came out, he scratched the floor when he pulled out the freezer in the refrigerator. But he found what was wrong and he fixed it. We've had this looked at twice before and this guy fixed it. We're pretty satisfied.
The dishwasher was spilling water all over the bottom of my cupboards and the floor. The technician came in, fixed it, cleaned up and did a good job. We had a home warranty before and we prefer American Home Shield much more. We're fairly new and we've only had one service so far. It was good and I was pleased with it.

I had a leak in the wall coming from underneath the floor. It was coming from the waterline. So when I called American Home Shield, they sent out DNB Plumbing. I showed the guy what was happening and he said that it was an easy fix. It was a great experience and he saved me lots of money. This was the third claim I submitted to American Home Shield and it was very easy to send someone out as soon as possible.
My AC repairman did an excellent job and was very expeditious, we were very happy with our repair. He also gave us very valuable tips on how to maintain our air conditioner ourselves
