Dynamic Air Flow was great. They were early. They called me quickly after I submitted my request. Everything they did was great. The contractor was the first one that we've used because we were with another company that was terrible, and that was why we switched to American Home Shield. This was my first experience with them and it was very good.
For an issue with a clogged toilet, American Home Shield sent us Loyalty Home Services. They came out right away and did a great job. They weren't there very long. They were efficient and clean. If people have an older home, a home warranty is gonna be worth the yearly fee especially if they have old plumbing and old air conditioning units. The refrigerator stopped cooling. The contractor that came out for it was a really nice guy. He was professional and did a good job. He fixed what we needed fixing. He kept my wife entertained, because apparently he was from Hungary. So as he was working and she was standing there, he conversed with her. So far, everything is fine. It was cooling last night.
I have never had a bad experience using a contractor that American Home Shield has provided us and it’s always been in a relatively timely manner. The contractors have always been pretty good. Recently, we had no hot water in our master bathroom shower. The contractor had to come twice. The first time, he came and repaired some things. I used to be a customer of American Home Shield a few years back, but with the recession and everything that had hit, I had to drop it to cut back on expenses. But as soon as I was able, I got them back again and everything's been good so far. I'm a firm believer in American Home Shield. The AC service person they'd sent out was amazing. Phil's Good A/C & Heating has been out three times. Everybody has been really good, but the problem is that my air conditioning hasn't stopped running and my house is 78 degrees. The only reason it’s 78 degrees is ‘cause it has been raining in Houston and it's cooler here in the last couple of days. This has been going on since the middle of May. American Home Shield gives me peace of mind and so far, so good. We have a normal servicer that services our AC unit every year and when he came to do his normal service to turn it on for the summer, it wouldn’t come on. There was an issue and it was diagnosed with having a specific unit that wasn’t working. United Air came out and now, the unit is working fine.
My dryer wasn't working and a part inside wouldn't move my clothes around. My husband submitted a claim online to American Home Shield and they sent Alfa Appliances. They sent us a text telling us what time they would come. When the techs arrived, they did a very good job. The dryer has been doing well since they came. Overall, I've had a good experience with AHS.
AHS has been great to work with in the short period of time that we have had them. The service technicians that they work with have been superb (professional and helpful). I would recommend AHS to any homeowner wanting a little more piece of mind.
