In the 16 years I've had America Home Shield, I've liked their service. Not too long ago, I had a dishwasher issue. It took AHS's tech two seconds to figure the problem out. American Home Shield brings in local companies that take care of whatever issue is in my house. I pay $54.99 monthly and fixing a dishwasher costs more than 100 bucks. I'm really happy with my coverage.

The contractors that came out were great. They made a phone call first before coming out, and then after the phone call, texted, which is my preferred anyway.
Ultimately got good service, but initial attempt to get help was poorly handled.
My dryer was heating but it wasn't drying. I filed the claim online and FTA Services was great. They needed me to run the dryer unhooked to see if it was the machine or the vent, so I had to do it that night, and then they came back. The issue wasn't the machine. There was a clog in the hose. Everything is fine. Overall, I like American Home Shield very much.
