My experience with *************** was great. My technician Steve was very knowledgeable and was able to tell me the problem within minutes. He inform me that the parts had to be order and all in all the turn around time was within a week. We were able to set up a time as to when I would be home and I was always inform by text and email with updates. Steve returned and was able to install the parts within an hour with very little trouble. I will definitively use *************** and their tech Steve in the future.
I had a service request with American Home Shield that I did online. I had no problem with the service request, although they need to provide an option where you can type in the problem as opposed to selecting from their own little menu that they provide, which is kinda limited. The gentleman from the company that came out was very professional. He did what he said he was gonna do. He looked at the system and told me what was wrong. He put a new capacitor in, wherein I've had another company come out and say that I needed Fr... read more
We purchased AHS last year. We have a brand new house, but it's already five years old so the original warranty had expired. So we decided to purchase one from a recommendation of a friend and we had not had any problems. Then sure enough, now this summer when it got warm, we turned our air conditioning on and it wasn't working. It just wasn't cooling. AHS sent a repair person who came out and fixed the problem. But then I noticed that it still wasn't really cooling. He came back out and he repaired it. After two visits, he ... read more
We had keying done through Home Shield. The locks were changed. It was a good job. The technicians from C&D Lock and Security were very good. I understand that the woman that was with the guy was one of the first professional locksmiths to be qualified in Oregon.
I gave American Home Shield five stars, because I have been satisfied with the contractors they partner with. Submitting a service request is quick and easy and they do not constantly raise their rates.
I have always gotten my issued resolved using American Home Shield. They get my lights back working, my plumbing issues resolved, and my ceiling fans back on. I was referred to A.H.S. by a co-worker and I am glad that I acted on that advice.
It's very easy to submit claims with American Home Shield. I just don't like the AC company they work with. But 495 Garage Door did a great job. They fixed my garage opener and I'm very happy with them.
The contractor came out and they said that they had to recontact Home Shield to see what needs to be done with my bathroom fan. I'm still waiting on someone to recontact me to find out exactly what's gonna happen. The contractor stated that the one that was installed wasn't supposed to be in the bathroom. He had to get confirmation to find out if they were gonna replace it or what was gonna happen with my request. I was never recontacted and it's been at least a few months. This is the first time with this contractor and I'v... read more
Knock Out Pools originally came out to replace my pump seal. Then I called the tech back three days later 'cause it was producing chlorine at 100% and I couldn't drop it down to 60% like it was supposed to do. The technician came out and tried to do it, and it wouldn't do it either. So, he said that the circuit board was bad and he had to order one. He also said that he had to get approval from American Home Shield. The technician has been out here several times. He's patient and really friendly. We've had American Home Shie... read more
