The refrigerator had water leaking all over the floor. I called American Home Shield, paid the $75 that I normally have to pay, and they contacted somebody in Suffolk, Virginia. The contractor came out and they fixed it. The temperature control was faulty and they replaced it. They were very concerned because of this coronavirus situation with masks and gloves. Everything went wonderful. Everything’s working great.
We had an issue with our water heater and Blue Star Plumbing came out. They took care of it and fixed it. Everybody at American Home Shield has been good, very thorough, and professional. I've had really good luck with them.
I feel very good about having a home warranty that covers the major expenses of maintaining my older home. The response is immediate when I request service and the professionals who come in response to my service request are efficient and very helpful.
When Myers came out, they couldn't do the job. They told me what was wrong with the unit that I had. American Home Shield had to get somebody else to do the job, but I've always used Myers. I have no problem with them. An electrician from another company came out and he fixed the problem. It was the air conditioner. When I submitted my claim regarding my fridge to American Home Shield, their contractor Colorado Residential Services came out the next day. The techs were good but they couldn't do anything to my fridge as it was still under warranty. They helped us and tried to call to make sure we got through to LG Warranty.
There was a leak where the pipes connect to the water heater and Kintex Plumbing came out. Everything worked out really well and the tenants were very happy. We had good comments with the service. This is the first time we've used American Home Shield and it worked out so well. The service was quick, easy and convenient. I bought a new policy for the place where I'm staying now too.
The internal blower of the AC wasn't working and Action Repair Service handled it well. They were great. We had a contractor for appliances and it wasn't the best. They looked at the items, said they were not covered and then walked out and left. We let American Home Shield know. They're very proactive on those things and they scheduled a follow up with another company, who was able to resolve the issue.
There was a part that was broken inside the heater. It had something to do with the heating thermostat or mechanism in there 'cause the heater wouldn't come up to speed. I just called American Home Shield and they put me in touch with the vendor. Once they scheduled the repair with the Maui Pool Service, they took over. The AC pipes weren't sealed properly so the water was drizzling out slow enough that it accumulated over time. The tech from Airmax was very professional. He ended up having to come back a second time to verify things. He put in the time and he did a good job. I wanna keep my warranty with Home Shield. It's a great insurance policy to have.
