A ceiling fan wasn’t coming on and after I made the claim online to American Home Shield, the contractor took a couple of days to come out. I’m all good with AHS and I have no complaints. We've enjoyed it.
I had an AC issue recently. I had one guy look at it and he wanted $1,700 and probably more. The second guy that came out was right on. He knew what he was doing and fixed it in a few minutes. It was just a coolant issue. It had too much Freon in it.
We have a few houses and we established an account with American Home Shield for our other house years and years ago. We just moved into this house a little over a year ago. We've had a lot of luck through the years and we wouldn't have stuck with the home warranty for so long if we weren't happy. Air Climate Solutions was great. The guy knew what he was doing. He was friendly and efficient. I haven’t used the AC much since then, but it was working fine after he repaired it. On this claim, American Home Shield is really good. I put the claim on the internet and they responded immediately. I had them years ago and they were good too.
I was very satisfied with the work from AHS. The contractor showed up early and completed the work on my air conditioner within 30 minutes. He was also very polite and respectable! ð??? Debra E. ***************************
My toilet wasn't filling and I submitted a claim to Home Shield. They sent Fix It Services to handle my problem and they were at my place for five minutes.
The service provider that AHS assigned to us did a fine job, but I am not totally satisfied with the items AHS covered on our a/c repairs. We still had to pay $1050 to repair a 3 year old air conditioner.
With AHS, I encounter issues when a job needs multiple kinds of services. Also, if there's a piece missing, that has to be ordered. Those things are not documented for Home Shield to know about. When a service person comes out, my job order ends but the work has not really been completed. Regardless, I've been with AHS for two years now and all of their contractors have been very professional. I am easily able to submit claims online. Most recently, I had their contractor South Cooling out and they were very good.
My air conditioner wasn't working. It was blowing hot air. I submitted a claim to American Home Shield online, but I made the appointment over the phone. The tech from Muehlbauer who came out was wonderful. He called, he was here when he said he was gonna be here, and he had to go get a part. He came back and everything was done in less than two hours from the time he called. So, I was very pleased. The unit is working better now than it was before. I've recommended American Home Shield to other people.
